THE HOME:

The home is a victorian house with high ceilings and views of the garden. The spare room is a large room with good natural light. It has a single bed but there is ample space for a double bed. There is a desk/dressing table, wardrobe, bedside table, and chest of drawers. It has a new carpet. There is a shared bathroom, and bath with an overhead shower. There is a view of the garden but no access. There is parking and storage for a bicycle.

THE HOUSEHOLDER:

The older lady is 90 and due to previous health conditions, she is weak in her hands and uses a walking stick to get around indoors. She occasionally goes outdoors but in a wheelchair. She has a supportive family living nearby and also a daily carer and a twice-weekly cleaner.

🗺️ THE HOMESHARE LOCATION:

Hampstead Village is a 5 minute walk away with Hampstead Tube (Zone 2/3) and all the shops and eateries. Hampstead Heath Overground is also a few minute’s walk away. There are lots of buses also the C11, 268, 46 to South End Green Station. The home is near the Health, a large park with the famous swimming ponds.

🛌THE IDEAL HOMESHARER:

The older lady is looking for friendly company and someone to share a meal a few nights a week. A male companion would be preferred. Being able to prepare a main meal 3 times a week is important. The Householder would like someone to do adhoc grocery shopping and collect her medication prescription. She wears hearing aids and this makes it difficult to make phone calls, so help with occasional phone calls would be very welcomed.

✔️ALL BILLS INCLUDED:

This is an affordable homeshare opportunity for £210 per month in total (this includes the homeshare subscription, utility bills and WIFI). There are no other costs.
